The purpose of this blog is to provide content that promotes a lifestyle of healthy eating. As a registered dietitian, I’m committed to posting information that is based on sound nutrition science that aligns with the most current and latest research possible. Topics on here are not based on any gimmick or quick fix. In fact, my hope is to encourage more accountability and mindfulness on what we chose to eat every day — to build “healthy skills” that will last a lifetime.
My topics are organized into recipes that I’ve personally tried and modified, how media and advertising affect us, a little psychology on mindful eating and some nutrition education. There is also a section called “On the Creative Side,” where I share my marketing experiences by providing tips for promotion and graphic design for other registered nutrition and dietetics professionals looking to promote their cause.
